hey everyone, i've been out of the 'game' for a few years now, and
i'm now trying to launch a personal blog. i'm building it block by
block (you can see a working comment form here for example: http://
dev.silvasonic.com/gold/comments/comments_gold.html), but i'm having
a bit of a hard time trying to code the headings (entry title +
comments count).

basically, i need to horizontally align two divs, and place a non-
repeating background inside the one on the right (with the comment
count number right in the center).

you can see my first attempt here (completely unfinished -- focus on
the title and the 'bubble' counter): http://dev.silvasonic.com/css-d/
heading

(note: the entry title will vary in its length, and the comment count
will never be over two digits)

i've added an image mockup to illustrate how i'd like this to look
like, and some very crude code. can any of you please point to the
right direction? i have a ton of questions (should the elements be
placed inside their own containers? does it make sense to have the
title as a H2, and the comment count as H3?), but if i could get some
help, a stating point, i would truly appreciate it.
