I've been reading the article in ALA about CSS Frameworks, and I was wondering if there is any consensus in the group about abstracting style sheets into multiple files. We haven't done that yet, although it seems like a good idea (and an upcoming project would benefit from it). Is this a common practice? How serious a drawback is the multiplication of HTTP requests?
