For this question please see
http://orangecountyquakers.org/quakers/index.htm.
The first main division (a class id called "Top") starts with the header
("About ...") and terminates with the faint blue line just above the
word "Next".
"Top" contains two divisions, one a class called "menu left" and the
other called "menu right". These divisions are the faint yellow boxes in
the middle of the page. Each is floated, with a height set to the same
value so they have the same height.
I have to add a dummy division, assigned to a class I call "hack", at
the bottom of the "top" division, but after the "menu left" and "menu
right" divisions. I have to do this in order to keep "menu left" and
"menu right" looking like they are inside the "top" division. Without
it, the faint blue line that terminates "top" cuts right through (but
behind) the two menus.
(I have to use "hack" to keep a floated image inside a division too)
The hack works but I hate it. This can't be the right way to keep a
couple of subdivisions inside a container. Can someone please tell me
the right way?
