Hello list, I'm getting a nasty little déja-vu over a device on my site whereby a javascript-powered pseudo-popup with unconstestably high x-index is getting poluted by <select> elements in the form under it.
The particular instance is with Kupu's 'insert link' widget - I'd've thought there'd be a flood of such reports on a simple google, but no dice. I've tried re-specifying the z-index on all concerned elements, I've checked the that the z-index' are specified for the right siblings at the right point in the tag tree, I've tried toggling positioning from static to relative for the selects - nothing seems to work. Unfortunately I can't give a url for the specific instance because it's behind authentication. Is this a common problem? Is there a common solution?
