Options are always nice to have.

Since your source-code construction is far from valid, and the CSS quite
complicated and relying on non-valid hacks, I thought a redo was in
place. Only the IE-expression itself is non-valid...

I just changed your 'top: expression' to a 'margin-top: expression',
which made absolute-positioning unnecessary.
