Mike, I may be "out to lunch" but I think the primary problem is the width of the image. You wrote on your page that one of the stipulations is the center column must be fluid and the left and right columns need be 200px each; /and/, that the image must be the width of the center column. If the center column is fluid, then its width is different at any given window width. One solution, may be to determine the narrowest width window you wish to hit and set the image to the center column width at that resolution. If, for example, you choose an 800 window, to clear the side bars you need a page width of approx 760px, minus the sidebars, leaving a center column width of 360px (and an image width of 360px). Min/max width might also be used (with a workaround for IE6 and down) to drop the window to around 600 and pull the image down with it. But, the image will never be wider than 360px, regardless of any window greater than 800-- the center column will widen (be fluid), not the image. To achieve the source order you want, this layout may work for you: <http://blog.html.it/layoutgala/LayoutGala13.html> Best, ~dL -- http://chelseacreekstudio.com/ ______________________________________________________________________ css-discuss [EMAIL PROTECTED] http://www.css-discuss.org/mailman/listinfo/css-d List wiki/FAQ -- http://css-discuss.incutio.com/ List policies -- http://css-discuss.org/policies.html Supported by evolt.org -- http://www.evolt.org/help_support_evolt/
