Sure :-) You take this... <http://www.gunlaug.no/contents/toc_7a.html> ...turn it 90 degrees so the horizontal fixed positioning becomes vertical, and add suitable min/max-height values instead of the -width ones. It'll work, but I scrapped my old test page 2 years ago and don't have time to create another one right now.
