I'm in the design stage for a site I'm creating for a program at our
elementary school. I've created most of my content and have a layout
pictured but am struggling on how best to implement it.

The layout I have envisioned is pretty typical with a header, footer,
and one or two content columns depending on the page. What's
different though is I'd like to use roads for the borders. See
mock-up at http://berg.selfip.net/mockup.png. I'd like to see the
right content move below the left content if the window gets too small
or the text is too big.

Can anyone offer advice on how to get started with this? What would
the best way to create the roads be either straight or with the
curves? Can I create them without using graphics?

Thanks in advance.
