Setting it up using Apache2Triad <http://apache2triad.net> makes it very lightweight. Lightweight enough that I used to run it on my old desktop Windows98 PC ... Apache2Triad is very easy for novices (and when it comes to configuring a web server, that's pretty much exactly where I am!)
