What do you mean 'break' ?
Box drops to second line on narrower window or with bigger font-size.
That is expected behaviour.
I'd use li {display:inline-block;} personally. More fine-grained  
control that way.

If you want top always keep all boxes on one line:
.c1 ul {white-space:pre;}
They'll jump out of the parent-box/window/screen/computer, though.

Or provide the whole thing as a PDF ? :=)
