Vertical scrollbar comes and goes, which causes jumping. It isn't
limited to the browsers you mention, as I get that jumping in all non-IE
browsers on any OS.

Make pages taller than the browser-window - min-height: 100% + 1px or
something, or style for a permanent vertical scrollbar in other ways.
