Greetings! I had a page with several ordered lists <ol> and styled them with lower-alpha, which produced lists of all number 1s with no sequential numbering. I tried several other possibilities with similar results. Finally, I gave up and changed the lists to <ul> tags, but I've read that this also can cause problems and that even list-style-type: none; doesn't work in IE 5.5, 6.0, and 7.0.
Should I just give up on lists altogether or is there some workaround I'm missing. Any suggestions appreciated.
