I'm posing this question because there are some CSS 3 properties that are in use in a wordpress plugin (sociable) stylesheet and of course it doesn't validate. There are also some proprietary opacity properties being used to target IE and older gecko browsers, which I can remove. I guess I could also remove the CSS3 opacity property as well but I actually like the effect.
You can view here: http://keithkemper.net/uncategorized/the-joint-is-jumping/ hover social icons to see. What is the general consensus with regards to CSS validation? I'm really inclined to leave the opacity effect in.
