I have tried several times to style a horizontal list and this time I am keeping at it till it works. I am trying to center the menu inside the black bar. I have given the ul a width and made the margins auto with text align centered. Should I put those styes on the li or a? Also, in IE8 'About us' seems to drop down below the other items. Firefox seems to be fine except for the centering. The hover state works in Firefox but the white background doesn't show in IE which means the menu just disappears. Thanks much for your help. Kris J
