For inconsistent results I believe that, the first thing that you should do is to remove the html validation errors: http://validator.w3.org/check?verbose=1&uri=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.tomlinsondesigns.com%2Fprojects%2F And, if any, the css validation ones as well. If, after that, you still have your issues, I'm sure a proper help will come :) K.
