There was some deprecated html like the center tag and align=right
etc. and some non-semantic html like <br>.

BTW, the Yahoo tracking code is the cause of many of the validation
errors. These can be fixed easily by closing the img tags, replacing
language="Javascript" with type="text/javascript" etc. I have fixed
the errors in the example page.

Thanks so much. By why is there Yahoo stuff there? It wasn't there in
