I removed the absolute position from ul and it works fine.

I don't remember know why I put it there.


While I'm here I was wondering how I can keep the footer (black strip with links and the white one with logos) at the bottom of the screen at all times regardless of the contents height.
I don't want to set up fixed height for the wrapper.

it goes away if you take off the position:absolute; from the styling
of the<ul>. Does the positioning serve a purpose?
