While there may be a few exceptions, I find that the moment we start
talking about "type" we are no longer thinking of the content of our
site as something that people on a whole host of different devices may
be accessing and need to be able to read.  If text breaking
differently messes up the design of you site, I'd suggest re-designing
it so that it can accommodate the flexibility that is inherent in the
web.  While I'm not necessarily a "leave all text at the browser
default" type purist (though I certainly see their point), I do feel
that trying to over-control text is a bad way to go and will only end
in tears.
