The two pages below use the same style sheet. In WIN IE 6, the content area 
smashes into the left-side menu. Mac Safari gets it right, except the second of 
the 2 pages sprouts a vertical scroll bar. Firefox 7 for Windows also gets that 
scroll bar on the second page, but doesn't smash content into menu and Chrome 
for Mac shows neither problem.

For IE6, is this a case of the way the menu is placed isn't supported by IE 6?

For the scrollbar on page 2, is this due to incorrect placement of the large 
image on the page? That image width doesn't exceed the container area width, 
but is wider than content area, yet I place the image outside of content, but 
within container.
