Seems to me that Opera has a completely different reading of Appendix E than everybody else. At least as far as the level where outline is painted (and I think the wording of said appendix E changed slightly since that forum thread –2009– to make clear what should happen). Iirc, old geckos had a similar bug, Firefox 2.0 or thereabout ?
