Hi folks,

I had originally intended to give everyone a few days' notice that
the list would be migrating to a new server, and the the list headers
would change during that migration. Unfortunately, the move happened
somewhat unexpectedly, so I'm telling you after the fact.
If your mail filters use headers other than 'Subject:', then the
odds are they just broke. (Mine did!) During the migration to the
new machine, headers that used to contain 'lists.css-discuss.org'
will now contain 'lists.evolt.org'. For example, I was using:

    X-Been-There: [email protected]

It would need to be, for the interim:

    X-Been-There: [email protected]

However, once the migration is complete, the headers will all go back
to the way they were, so it might be better to set up a parallel
filter instead of rewriting the one that already exists.
During this migration, THE POSTING ADDRESS STAYS THE SAME. Keep
posting to '[email protected]'. It will, I'm told,
continue to work just fine. It's just the delivery information that
will be different for a little bit. I believe the period in which
'lists.evolt.uk' will appear in the headers should be no longer than
a week, but don't hold me to that.
These changes are happening because the fine folks at evolt, who
host css-discuss at no charge, are migrating it to a new and much
more powerful server. The hope is that this will eliminate the lags
and pauses we've been seeing on occasion.
On that note, if you think css-d is a valuable resource and want
to support it in some monetary fashion, then donating a little
something to evolt is the best way to do that.
Thanks for your patience, and sorry for the tardy notification.
