Hi, This may be a simple IE fix (oh, please, oh, please), but I can't find anything about it and it's driving me nuts. I have thumbnail images of paintings that highlight in hover, and when you click one, an enlarged version of that painting loads on the same page. Before I linked the thumbnails to load on the page, they looked fine in various browser/ platform combos, and the hover effect worked.
After I linked them the hover effect still worked and each thumbnail loads nicely into the load area. BUT, although the image for each link and its hover counterpart appear in all the browsers I tested, in IE versions 5.5 - 8.0 the MS Image Icon appears *on top* of all of the thumbnail images as if they are busy loading. Passing the cursor over one causes the hover effect to work, but the Image Icon still appears on to of the image. If you need to look at the page, it's here: http://www.billkeyart.com/bkad_canvas.html CSS is here: http://www.billkeyart.com/bkad.css This only concerns the thumbnails on the right, I am still building the site, so the nav buttons don't have any real pages to go to. BTW, I haven't added the ALTs yet. I thought that might have some weird connection, but when I added a couple, not only did the Image Icons remain, but blue ALT text also appeared on top of the images. I also tired a null ALT, but it didn't help. Thanks for any suggestions. --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ -- You received this because you are subscribed to the "Design the Web with CSS" at Google groups.
