Yes, it IS normal, for two reasons:
1. IE is notorious for making a mess of even the simplest aspects
2. TitilliumText22LThin is NOT a 'web safe' font

If you MUST use an obscure font, make sure you have a 'fallback' that
IS 'web safe'
