Is it an issue of the sidebar being clicked and being stuck at the
top? Cuz I can see it jumps up and then when the next page loads it
is rendered in the correct place. That's merely an inherit issue with
using flash as that sort of component in a website since there is a
momentary lapse where the browser resources are handed over to the
flash object which could be causing this issue. If you want to
eliminate this effect, then just markup the main nav and sidebar as
straight HTML. Personally I feel like the main nav constantly fading
in is a bit distracting from the content.
Also, doing your navigation in HTML markup has added benefits, since
you're not taking full advantage of your SEO with this type of
navigation. Google does better indexing with flash content now days,
but when you're nav structure is setup in flash, I'm not sure that
gets spidered very well and it's entirely possible the site isn't
being properly indexed unless you're supplying a sitemap to google
analytics. Just some things to keep in mind.
