The foliono package helps to create old-style books by implementing folio
numbering.
Folio numbering preceded the modern page numbering convention and was in common
use until
the 18th century. In it the leaves (folios) of books are numbered instead of
individual
pages. This package has several options that allows users to recreate the most
common
folio numbering styles that were used c. 1300-1700.
