This is a message from CTLS-L.
Selecting "Reply" will send a message to the entire list.
---------------------------------------------------------

To all Interlibrary Loan staff on CTLS-L: please read the latest from the Library of Congress below.  This will change how we decide CTLS referrals to LC.  It will be up to area libraries to decide if they want their referrals to go to LC.  Please respond to me either on the list, (hit reply) or directly to my e-mail your library's preference.

Thanks

Subject:        [ILL-L:2785] Returning ILL borrowed items to Library of Congress

ILL is now back to normal at the Library of Congress, as far as
circulation check outs are concerned.  Overdue notices are also being
sent on a normal schedule.

However, due to the uncertainty of mail deliveries by the United States
Postal Service, we ask that all materials borrowed from the Library of
Congress be returned via Federal Express or UPS.

No U.S. Postal Service mail has been delivered to the Library of
Congress since Oct. 17, 2001.
