Subject: Shreve, Gilb & Collins LIVE! @ the National Book Festival

 

LIVE! @ your library, an initiative of the American Library Association

Public Programs Office, will present three acclaimed authors at the

second annual National Book Festival in Washington, D.C. on Saturday,

October 12.   U.S. poet laureate Billy Collins, best-selling author

Anita Shreve and acclaimed novelist Dagoberto Gilb will be among the

more than 60 authors and artists from around the country invited to read

at this festival presented by the Library of Congress and First Lady

Laura Bush. 

 

Collins will speak in the Fiction and Imagination Pavilion at 11:30

a.m. and will read with students from the Poetry 180 program in the

Children and Young Adults Pavilion II at 3:30 p.m.  Collins will also be

available to sign books at 1:00 p.m. 

 

LIVE! @ your library roster author Dagoberto Gilb will read in the

Fiction & Imagination Pavilion at 2:00 p.m. and sign books at 3:00 p.m.

 

 

Best-selling novelist Anita Shreve will read in the Fiction &

Imagination Pavilion at 10:30 a.m. and sign books at 12:00 p.m. 

 

The American Library Association and LIVE! @ your library will also

exhibit in the Festival's Let's Read America pavilion.
