We used to take their insurance rating guide, but our users just didn't seem
to care for it. I personally thought it was informative and useful, but I
guess I was the only one who thought so. Our users were much more familiar
with AAA Best, and they didn't seem inclined to change their loyalties.
After two years, we gave up on Weiss and conceded that our users just
weren't going to change.

I never tried Weiss's guides on mutual funds or stocks, but our users are
very satisfied with Morningstar and ValueLine. I've seen no reason to
change over. The frequent updating of their materials (they're in looseleaf
binders) can be a bother, but it is precisely that frequent updating that
makes them so attractive to investors.

Does anyone subscribe to the Weiss Ratings' guides? They have guides to
mutual funds, brokerage firms, stocks. I need opinions of these works as I
have no knowledge of these type of resources. Thanks
