The following ten institutions have graciously agreed to host this event for Texas library staff in conjunction with the Texas State Library. The Texas State Library has made every effort to distribute access to this event throughout the state. 1. University of Texas Health Science Center, San Antonio 2. Texas A&M University, College Station 3. South Plains College, Levelland (this is near Lubbock) 4. Baylor University, Waco 5. UT Austin, Austin 6. Tarrant County College, Fort Worth 7. Abilene Christian University, Abilene 8. University of North Texas, Denton 9. University of North Texas, Dallas 10. Texas A&M University at Corpus Christi, Corpus Christi It is important to note that other institutions will be hosting this event either through provisions of their own or through the sponsorship of another organization. These institutions have notified us of their willingness to allow attendance from local library staff. Information about these host sites as well as information on the 10 Texas State Library-sponsored host sites may be found at the Texas State Library Web site at the following URL: http://www.tsl.state.tx.us/ld/workshops/teleconferences/2002/dec11.html INTERESTED IN ATTENDING THE PROGRAM AT ONE OF THE 10 TSLAC-SPONSORED HOST SITES? No advance registration is required but please notify the site coordinator at the location you will be attending at least 24 hours prior to the teleconference -- site coordinator contact information as well as the viewing location for the program can be found on the TSLAC Web-page at the URL listed above. As this is a highly anticipated event, space may be limited and it is advisable that you contact the site coordinator as soon as possible to inquire about reserving a seat. CREDIT HOURS: Three (3) hours of TSLAC Continuing Education Credit will be offered to participants filling out a TSLAC Certificate of Attendance form at the workshop. Site coordinators will return those forms to TSLAC for processing at the conclusion of the program. The Medical Library Association (MLA) and the American Association of Law Libraries (AALL) will also award credit for attendance at this event. Forms for obtaining MLA and AALL credit will be included in the Participant's Packet which all attendees should receive at the event.
