(For those of you inundated with tax forms and wondering how far back to keep them, this appeared on PUBLIB.-L.) Subject: IRS forms; how long to keep Date: Mon, 13 Jan 2003 22:08:22 -0800 (PST) From: "Helen & Roger Dewey" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To: publib <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Subject: Re: Tax Forms The IRS website has prior year tax forms and publications back to 1992. So, I now only keep 3 years of backfiles of the reproducible forms and the publications booklets. I keep the latter because publications are so much easier to read on paper than on a screen. http://www.irs.gov/formspubs/article/0,,id=98339,00.html Helen Dewey (Not a spokesperson for the System) [EMAIL PROTECTED] Pohick Regional Library, Fairfax County Public Library System 6450 Sydenstricker Road, Burke, VA 22015 Phone: 703-644-7333 FAX: 703-644-4035 --------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, send to [EMAIL PROTECTED] Include in body: unsubscribe ctls-l For information on CTLS-L please visit: http://www.ctls.net/document/ctls-l.htm
