FREE LIBRARY SPANISH & ENGLISH PHRASE LISTS from Spanish that Works
The Learning Light has just recently updated their website to include
several resource materials of interest to libraries with Spanish speaking
patrons, including the Library Phrase Lists which were originally developed
for Teton County Library.
You will also find hand-outs on the Dewey Classifications and "Basic
English for the Library" that you can give to patrons. There is a
set of
the Lesson 2 flashcards from the Spanish that Works in the Library course,
which includes basic greetings, as well as a reference sheet on the
numbers, complete with pronunciation guide.
The materials are in pdf format, and may be found on the Spanish that Works
main page under the "Free Materials" link. You may also want to
visit the
"Learning on Your Own" page for recommendations for studying Spanish,
or
the "English within Reach" page for links to some good ESL
materials.
The website address is: http://www.thelearninglight.com
Buen provecho!
