Many of you have been using the TexShare Databases' Heritage Quest
Online to search census records. At the workshops I've done, we haven't
really done much printing. Today, I noticed what I think is something
new on the page one gets after one clicks on "print" at the top left of
the census page. "To learn how to print enlarged census pages, click
here."

When you click there, you are directed to an Adobe Acrobat page that
gives instructions for selecting and printing a portion of a census
page. It is then possible to click on "Properties" and choose the
Landscape setting and make a better print of a census page than printing
from your browser.

Please call or e-mail me if you have problems trying this. I think you
and your patrons will be pleased with the results.
