Yeah, but who will publish it?

I second Dale's comment. Although, I think he may have more time than ever to
write.

Subject: Re: [ctls-l] Removing author's work

The only time I've removed any material from the library because of a misdeed
of an author was when there was false material that was proven to be false. I
think, with all the authors out there, we'd probably not have much of a
collection if we excluded authors repugnant to someone-gays, blacks, radical
right, radical left, murderers (won't include the autobiography or the true
crime written by the criminal)?

I suppose we wouldn't have works about or by Roman Polanski or anything he's
produced, and whoever else has done something egregious to someone!

So, if your general population does not know a lot about the author, but the
literature is popular and doesn't hint at this activity, why remove it? He
certainly won't be writing or publishing much more kiddie lit going forward!

Subject: [ctls-l] Removing author's work

This subject has come up at my Library and I would like to know what you think.
K.P. Bath the author of The Secret of Castle Cant was sentenced to 6 to 7 years
in prison for child pornography, it was suggested to me that I should remove
his books from the shelves as he writes children's fiction. What do you think?
