Janice Richardson, our part-time public services librarian, passed away yesterday from cancer. Janice had also worked for the Leander Independent School District for many years; with the latest being the librarian at the Leander Middle School. My thoughts and prayers are with her and her family. Janice's memorial service is scheduled on August 21st at 2:00 pm at the Cedar Park Beck Funeral Home on 1431, about 1.5 miles east of the library
