You are apparently laboring under a misapprehension. I HAVE read the book.
I also researched the history of the book and its author. I am not a
Christian (though I have read many versions of the bible many times) and
even at my current level of ignorance I am not ignorant enough to be an
atheist.
You must have one of those IMPLANTS referred to in the URANTIA book as the
"THOUGHT ADJUSTERS."
So I am not OPEN MINDED and I don't look FORWARD? I bet if I agreed with
you about the Urantia book you'd be gushing all about how "open minded" I
am.

I really don't want to get into a war over this..I just thought the more

minded and forward looking individuals on this list might enjoy reading
some
modern concepts regarding our Universal Father. After all this list is
dedicated to the pursuit of the truth..is it not? Why stop with just
material
truths. Why not find out what God really is...and why religions are so
hellbent on keeping anyone from finding out the truth. The greatest
conspiracy
of them all resides in religion. The Urantia Book strips away the conspi
racy
and the secrets. By the way, the Urantia Book is not channeled information
from dead people. If you had read the book before trashing it Mr. Estes,
you
would know that. Most people that don't have anything good to say about the
Urantia book are either atheists or Christians that have never read the
book.
For what it is worth..the Urantia Book claims to be the 5th epochal
revelation
to our planet. (Jesus was the 4th) it was provided to those with open minds
to
clear up errors and misconceptions concerning God, Jesus, history,
evolution,
heaven..etc. Everything you ever wanted to know concerning God is in this
book..explained in a logical manner (yes God really is logical..surprise! )
If you ask me this crazy world could use all the help it can get.
