Hello Howard...
Religion is mans attempt at explaining God. Most religions are based on
primative attempts at defining God. 20th century human beings shouldn't be
basing their concepts of God on ancient interpretations. The Urantia Book was
sent to clear up the religion based "myths" I am not saying that there is no
truth in religion, because there is truth, but religion also contains much
that isn't true. This is not a cult, it is a personal relationship with
God..the Urantia Book is the scaffolding that helps to build this personal
relationship. There are no leaders or churches. There have been a few study
groups that have sprung up here and there. I choose to study the book on my
own. The book is online at www.urantia.org if you wish to find out for
yourself.
