-Caveat Lector- Materialism, greed, envy, et cetera sure seem to have a lot of negative vibes associated with it. I used to have monetary/material resources but when I realised they'd take them all away from me when I went terminally breathless, I gave up the hunt and gave much up for lent (I loaned things out -- indefinitely). I realised it was a conspiracy to become addicted to this physical plane ... they tell you all about the here-after but teach you to go to it clawing and scratching, clutching that last Ming vase (vahz). Just like Daffy Duck in the treasure trove, yelling "Mine, mine, mine ..." Homes on wheels? I have one ... it's called "efficiency". I recall an Indian (Native American) saying that went something like "Take only what you need and leave where you are/were as you found it." Antithetic to materialism, ... ? ~~~~~~~~~~~~ A<>E<>R The only real voyage of discovery consists not in seeking new landscapes but in having new eyes. -Marcel Proust + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + ---------- : From: Hawk <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> : To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] : Subject: Re: [CTRL] Squawk's dissertation on ignorance!! : Date: Wednesday, January 06, 1999 7:47 PM : : -Caveat Lector- : : Edward Britton wrote: : : > Even so, given your provincial attitudes, I'll bet there's a home-on-wheels : > somewhere in your history. : : How much is the bet? : : > How cute: an urban assault vehicle, right?
