Isn't it funny? Jim Thorp was stripped of his medals for being paid about
twenty bucks for playing baseball. But it is normal (and I'm sure it is) for
financial payoffs for the OIC, and multi-millionaire Michael Jordan takes a
little time out and plays Olympic basketball. His multi-millions came from
the very sport he was playing for the Olympics. Does anyone know if Thorp was
ever given his medals back? Prudy
