Why I went searching for lobbies at last is due to the following extract
from The Scoop posted earlier today or later last night. What would be of
interest is to see is how many $$$ shift from the coffers of the AMA-HMO
bloc to various political activities/activists. I posted some numbers ($$$
to whom) aways back but I haven't looked for those. Of course, $$$ are
secondary (or lesser) to the national interests of the U.S. -- they don't
mean much to no one. It's more all ethics and the people that drive this
democratic republic any ol' how.
What the JAMA affair shows is just how sensitive its reputation is, given
its organs (pun neutral) have quite an effect on people's thinking. Just
how does the AMA 'inject' itself? (Gone hunting.)
