<< I also am an admirer of Mack, and Jim Garrison for their efforts to find
the
truth in the face of so much opposition (though Garrison carried a lot of
baggage) Kurt Vonnegut, truly an original thinker. Alex Constantine was one
of the first people I read in order to get a handle on "conspiracy theory" as
such I owe him more than anyone else for what I have become and where I am
today (which may be good or bad depending on your perspective, ha, ha!).>>

Constantine has been a great teacher. He makes note of Mack's possible
CIA connections and believes all alien abductions are military-staged. I drew
my view of Mack from his book, "Abduction" and only saw a sensitive
psychiatrist facing the dilemmas of clients with respect and skepticism.

<< As for Ted Kennedy, I can't admire him because he is too much of a
buffoon, or
class clown, BUT he has largely been made the way he is by the forces who
destroyed his family and murdered his brothers, so I do feel sorry for him
(but would have a vast respect for him if he reopened the investigations and
spoke publicly about the assassinations of his brothers, though that probably
 will never happen).>>

I don't understand why Bobby didn't push harder to re-open either, but read
that it was to be his primary agenda were he to make it to the WH after the
'68 election. It occurs to me the remaining Kennedys are simply trying to
stay alive. If, for example, Ted were told he could live and his family
members would be in no danger should he not pursue the investigations into his
brothers' deaths, then his silence would make sense to me. Otherwise, it does
not.

<< He had great potential, that was destroyed when his
brothers were killed and when "they" got a hook in him with the
Chappaquiddick
incident which may have been staged (at least partly) to compromise him.>>

I think Chappaquiddick may well have been staged. And, of course, Ted was
almost killed in a plane crash before that, and broke his back. I was
disappointed at how bitterly Ted fought Carter in 1980. It seemed he alone
was responsible for Reagan winning, having divided his own party so severely.
But I can't help admire Ted's statesmanship as a Senator. Even his political
enemies acknowledge he has become a remarkable statesman. No matter what
happens, he advocates for the poor and needy. He plods on and on,
unrelenting, trying to bring some measure of dignity and justice to the poor.
He never seemed to have the charisma of his brothers, or the forcefulness, but
I admire him nonetheless.

<<His dad Joe Sr. was just a no good smuggler, banker, elite, who helped get
Nixon's political career off the ground so I don't like him at all.>>

It's hard to find books on Joe. The ones I have read don't document him as a
bootlegger, though it is worthy to note that both Joe's family and Rose's were
in the legit liquor business before prohibition. Joe's formidable business
skills were used often by FDR to clean up various messes. As ambassador, Joe
favored appeasement of Hitler through economic means, which didn't turn out to
be a very good idea, though Joe had plenty of company in those beliefs. I
never read about Joe helping launch Nixon, though what an irony that would be.
