*** Energy plant may profit tribe. AGASTYAVANAM, India (AP) Scientists huff-
ing and puffing on a trek up a southern Indian mountain noticed their guides
from the Kani tribe didn't look tired at all. They also saw the guides were
plucking and eating berries from a plant growing on the slope. Asked about
that, one guide said the berries gave them an energy boost and came from the
"divine" Arogyapacha plant, which grows only on Agastyavanam Mountain in
Kerala state. The trek has led to a venture that may transform the Kanis'
