You're probably right about needing a responsible press, but we also need a
populace which understands that when nations fight under whatever name, men
die.  In fact so do women and children.  Equipment is lost.  All of these
unpleasant things happen.  After the unspeakable abomination that was Viet
Nam, why is everyone so surprised that the same kind of thing is an will
continue to happen in Yugoslavia.   Prudy
