You are both wrong IMHO. Firstly, no one is interested in peace. This
whole adventure is intended to dismantle Yugoslavia. There will be no
peace
or cease fire until there are masses of NATO troops throughout former
Yugoslavia. That was the point of starting this war. A sovereign
independent
state populated by a free and independent people cannot be trusted to
police
that part of the Balkans.
Secondly, this is an American/European imperialist operation. If it
were
under the auspices of the UN, then Russia or China could veto the
whole
thing in the Security Council killing it before it has the chance to
get
military control of all of Europe.
Thirdly, the NWO wants to make NATO, the military force of choice
instead
of the US Military thereby removing the American public from any
input.
Fourthly, they want to see if they can change the world's antiquated
perception of NATO as merely a defensive force to an international
military
force controlled by the G-7 nations.
Fifthly, they are putting the world on notice. You will join us and
benefit
from International Corporate Capitalism. Or Else...
But don't lose hope. There is a good chance they will fail. The
alliance
could break up under pressure. The Serbs, with their backs against the
wall
could send enough of their enemies home in body bags to make each
country
wonder if it's really worth it. Or, NATO will bring massive
overwhelming
force against Serbia to become the last great butcher of this bloody
century. After that shtick the rest of the world will realign against
the NATO countries to counterbalance the West's Unipolar domination.
The New World Order is crumbling under its own greed and weight. We
all
need to be careful they don't take us down with them.
