-Caveat Lector- Sunday April 11, 1:43 PM (EST) NATO: Serbs damaging villages BRUSSELS, Belgium, April 11 (UPI S) _ NATO says Serb forces on a rampage in the Yugoslav province of Kosovo have damaged civilian villages and blamed NATO for their handiwork. At a briefing (Sunday), military spokesman Col. Konrad Freytag showed photographs of two villages NATO did not attack and said the damage to civilian facilities shown in the photographs was ``similar to what we have seen in the past in Bosnia and in Croatia.'' Sunday April 11, 1:33 PM (EST) NATO has evidence of mass graves BRUSSELS, Belgium, April 11 (UPI S) _ A military spokesman says (Sunday) NATO has gathered evidence of recently dug mass graves in Kosovo. At the daily NATO briefing in Brussels, officials displayed before-and-after satellite pictures that appeared to show freshly turned earth, but military spokesman Col. Konrad Freytag cautioned that the existence of graves could not be confirmed until on-site inspections can be carried out. Sunday April 11, 1:24 PM (EST) NATO used ``restraint'' on Easter holiday BRUSSELS, Belgium, April 11 (UPI S) _ Spokesman Jamie Shea says NATO used ``relative restraint'' on the 18th day of its air campaign against Yugoslavia, despite earlier promises not to let up on President Slobodan Milosevic's forces during the religious holiday (Sunday). At a briefing in Brussels, Shea said NATO struck military targets in Kosovo but added, ``We were mindful of the Orthodox Easter celebration.''
