-Caveat Lector- I don't think the lesson is so obvious. Without the Sopranos, these kids were still going to kill their mother. They just might not have figured out to cut off their heads and hands - unless of course they read it in a book or newspaper - a fine source of information no one suggests causes violence or needs to be banned - There is violence in media because there is violence in society, not the other way around.
