Remember Three Mile Island?
In past emergencies, the government has always
told us: "Remain calm, everything is under control."
This has always been the standard line.
But not this time....not now.
In fact it's just the opposite.
The Bush Administration is pouring gasoline on
the fire of fear and fanning the flames.
Constant "Alerts!!!"
CONDITION ORANGE!!!
BUY DUCT TAPE AND PLASTIC!
BUY A WEEK'S SUPPLY OF WATER!
BE AFRAID! BE VERY AFRAID!
WHY ARE THEY DOING THIS?
WHY DOES BUSH WANT TO PUSH THE FEAR FACTOR UNTIL
THE AMERICAN PEOPLE ARE IN A PANIC FRENZY?
HE OBVIOUSLY DOES WANT THIS.
So now we have military vehicles and antiaircraft
missiles positioned in high visibility places in
our nation's capital.
Why this, when according the UN inspectors the longest
range missile they have found in Iraq has a range of
only 120 miles?
Are you old enought to remember the Cuban Missile
Crisis? I am. Those were real missiles being
set up just 90 miles from Florida. The world's
two nuclear Superpowers were having a showdown.
GUESS WHAT?
In that very real emergency, President Kennedy was
not trying to panic the American People.
There were no government bulletins instructing
people to hoard food and water or to dig holes
in their backyards.
So why is Bush doing his best to strike fear
into the hearts of Americans now?
WHY?
Do you have any ideas what his intentions are?
