And for that matter, more than anyone taking the Oath of Allegiance in
your country. So why do you keep taking God's name in vain? Why not remove
God from the Oath of Allegiance since nobody knows what God is saying as
to how one should live on this planet.
Well when I went to school we didn't say under God. We didn't have to. Most of us were aware that when it comes to God, the Moslems' little prayer that says "All things begin and end with God" was right. It is the strange Christians of the far right who seem to have so many doubts they have to repeat God's name at every opportunity especially if they can do it to impress crowds. Somewhere in the Bible it says go into your closet to pray. It's hard to impress people with your religiousity if they can't see and hear you. It makes it even better if you can insist they follow you in whatever prayers you're using that day.
