a somewhat esoteric question:
david rockefeller used to be the chairman of the chase manhattan bank "international advisory committee". george schultz now is the chair of the jp morgan chase "international council". in light of the fact of the merger a few years back, does anyone know specifically whether the latter entity is directly linked with the former? i couldn't find any info... but it seems like it would be; i'd like to know if schultz is now holding a position that could be said to be equivalent to rockefeller's old one.
