Iraqi Mourners Bury Eight Police Officers
By The Associated Press
Saturday 13 September 2003
"We want the Americans to leave our country because they have brought us only death," said Taleb Hameed, a 30-year-old schoolteacher. "We are fed up with their apologies. We will continue our resistance."
FALLUJAH, Iraq (AP) -- Gunfire crackled from every corner of Fallujah on Saturday and mourners shouted "America is the enemy of Allah" as angry residents gathered to bury eight Iraqi police killed in a friendly fire incident involving U.S. forces.
The U.S. military offered its condolences, but also said American troops only opened fire after they were shot at first.
Schwarzenegger might have bent U.S. immigration law himself
By Dion Nissenbaum, Knight Ridder Newspapers

SACRAMENTO -- Republican Arnold Schwarzenegger has denounced illegal
immigration in his bid to become California's next governor, but the
Austrian native may have stretched the bounds of United States law to
secure his own ticket to America in the 1960s. As a 21-year-old bodybuilder, Schwarzenegger came to the United States  in 1968 on a B-1 visa, which allows visiting athletes to compete and
train, but bars them from drawing a salary from an American company.

But in his 1977 autobiography, Schwarzenegger said he reached a deal
with a legendary figure in the bodybuilding industry "to pay me a
weekly salary in exchange for my information and being able to use
photographs of me in his magazine." That arrangement, said a half dozen immigration attorneys across the  nation, appears to have violated the terms of his visa.

Organ music 'instills religious feelings' By Jonathan Amos BBC News Online science staff, in Salford 9/8/03 "People who experience a sense of spirituality in church may be reacting to the extreme bass sound produced by some organ pipes. Many churches and cathedrals have organ pipes that are so long they emit infrasound which at a frequency lower than 20 Hertz is largely inaudible to the human ear.  But in a controlled experiment in which infrasound was pumped into a concert hall, UK scientists found they could instil strange feelings in the audience at will. These included an extreme sense of sorrow, coldness, anxiety and even shivers down the spine."  http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/science/nature/3087674.stm

It's people being picked up off the streets or out of their homes or out of their workplaces--not charged with anything, thrown into jails or prisons, and sometimes there are allegations of torture. There's no access to lawyers, and family members don't know where their loved ones are. This kind of gross violation of the Geneva Convention and human rights is happening on a daily basis.
