Consider the following timeline:
1903 1st manned flight - Wright Brothers
1927 1st flight across the Atlantic- Charles Lindberg
1947 1st flight to break sound barrier- Chuck Yeager
1969 1st manned moon landing - Neil Armstrong
????
Notice there was a quantum leap forward every 20 to
24 years, from 1903 thru 1969.
Question: What quantum leaps have occurred since
1969?
Answer: Apparently none...at least as far as we have
been told.
Armstrong landed on the moon 34 years ago.
The space shuttle technology is at least 3 decades old
In 1965 you could fly on a jet airliner from New York
to Los Angeles at the same speed and altitude as it
is flown today.
Fantanstic amounts of money have been spent on
research and development in the past 34 years.
But so far as the public knows, little or nothing has
been developed. It is almost a certainty that much
amazing new technology now exists. The "quantum leaps"
didn't stop in 1969.
